Earl grey cake

Deze cake is voor Wieneke. Wanneer deze vriendschap is ontstaan is mij niet helemaal meer duidelijk. Maar ik deelde voor het eerst iets persoonlijks op Food Bandits. Ik deelde daarvoor alleen veel ontbijtfoto’s en een dirty martini maar ik geloof dat ik iets zei over hoe moeilijk het kan zijn als chronisch zieke om de schoonheid in dingen te blijven zien. Maar die dag was er een boswandeling, fijne muziek op de radio en bij thuiskomst taart. ‘Ik heb ook ME’ vertelde Wieneke

Basic vegan and gluten free cake

Johann and I have labelled this cake our basic cake. It goes perfectly with any type of fruit, topping or sauce. On top of that it is also very easy to make and has great texture and taste. And I know that people who love breakfast cake will also definitely enjoy this one. What else can I say except…. bake this cake!

Vegan and gf Cinnamon buns

Aside from apple pie, the most autumn-y thing to bake are cinnamon buns. Lots of cinnamon and cardamom, wrapped in a delicious pastry that’s both soft and sweet. We created this simple version of it that is both vegan and gluten free! And yes, that’s definitely worth an applause, because that combination is rare. And on top of that, it also uses a great margarine that is readily available in your local supermarket.
